Enabled with mobile office and multimedia capabilities, this handset brought the ’P series', which was first introduced in 2003, finally into line with Sony Ericsson's other top-of-the-range models. The Xperia X1, soon-to-be released, is the first smartphone of this caliber, and should hit the stores at the end of September 2008. With this model, Sony Ericsson’s powerhouse smartphones opened the door for the integration of the Windows Mobile Operating System.
This joint venture of Sony and Ericsson has altered the dynamics of the mobile industry. Their product line consists of music oriented, camera based, business class and economical phones. It seems that, with every new mobile generation the company introduces, they show the world they are keeping up with advanced technology, and are still more than willing to come up with new and better ways to satisfy their devoted customer’s needs.
